La Gare is a charming coffee and sandwich café on the Stationsstraat in Amstelveen’s Oude Dorp. La Gare is open six days a week for breakfast, lunch or a cup of coffee or tea with cake.
The coffee at La Gare comes from Brandmeester’s. With your coffee or tea you can pick one of the pastries, and for breakfast and lunch the menu offers a choice of tasty dishes.
For a festive afternoon, book a high tea at La Gare, with unlimited fresh tea and a variety of homemade treats. In the evening La Gare can be booked for a party, dinner or drinks. On Sundays, La Gare also serves coffee and cake at Museum Jan, where you can sit inside or in the courtyard garden.
