World Rowing Championships 2026
In the summer of 2026, the Bosbaan in the Amsterdamse Bos becomes the center stage of international rowing. From August 24 to 30, the Staatsloterij 2026 World Rowing Championships will take place here. Over 1,200 para and elite athletes from more than sixty countries will gather for a week of top-level sport, excitement, and international unity.
The Bosbaan, located in the green heart of the Amsterdamse Bos and close to the vibrant Zuidas business district, is currently undergoing major renovations to be fully prepared for this global sporting event. With its rich history as a rowing venue, the Bosbaan offers the perfect backdrop for this prestigious competition.
The championship includes both Olympic and non-Olympic rowing events. Naturally, the strong Dutch team will be present—ambitious, determined, and cheered on by a passionate home crowd.
