
De Bosbaan
The Bosbaan, located in the Amsterdamse Bos, is internationally renowned for hosting thrilling rowing and dragon boat races. As the oldest artificial rowing course in the world, this iconic venue is a popular destination for both competitions and training. Each year, the Bosbaan hosts a variety of events, including national rowing championships, student regattas, and colorful dragon boat tournaments. Distances of 200, 500, and 2000 meters are raced, always finishing on the final, highly visible 500-meter straight stretch of water.
