35th anniversary: Museum JAN
Museum JAN in Amstelveen has two reasons to celebrate on the weekend of 21 and 22 November: the museum turns 35, and it is wrapping up its Kunst in de Wijk (Art in the Neighbourhood) project. Expect a festive art weekend packed with creative activities for all ages, and a great opportunity to discover the museum if you haven't been yet.
Watch a glassblower at work and step inside the studio of artist Jan Verschoor. Feeling creative yourself? Join one of the hands-on workshops.
Kids can get their faces painted, and Amstelveen's city poet Wout van Zaale will perform a poem dedicated to the museum.
Whether you come with the whole family or on your own, there is plenty to see and do. Visit Museum JAN for more information about the anniversary weekend.
