Origami workshop
During the Japan Festival, the Origami Society Netherlands (OSN) hosts a creative workshop where participants can fold a unique card featuring a colorful kimono. It’s a festive and accessible introduction to the traditional Japanese art of paper folding.

In 2025, the 425th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Japan is being celebrated. To mark this occasion, the Japanese ambassador will present the Amstelveen Library with a collection of books on Japanese language, culture, and society.
