FIH Hockey World Cup 2026

In August 2026, the Netherlands and Belgium will become the beating heart of the global hockey world. The FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 unites the top 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams for a unique dual world championship. From 15 to 30 August 2026, teams will compete for eternal glory at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen and the  Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre.

Each venue will host four matches per day, surrounded by a vibrant fan zone featuring music, food, drinks, shops, and exciting hockey activities. At the same time, the FIH ParaHockey World Cup will take place, celebrating diversity and inclusion in sport.

The Dutch Men’s and Women’s National Teams will play their group matches in Amsterdam, while the Belgian Red Lions and Red Panthers compete in Wavre. The semifinals will be split between the two nations, with the Women’s Final on 29 August in Amsterdam and the Men’s Final on 30 August in Wavre.
