Queer Meet-Up (16+)
On Tuesday, June 23, a Queer meet-up will take place at the Library. The evening begins with a short introduction, followed by a screening of the short film Sew into you while enjoying pizza. The film explores the connection between queer people across different generations.
After the screening, visitors engage in conversation using thought-provoking conversation cards. These discussions also connect to LGBTQIA+ literature from the Library’s collection.
Participants can also work on a small embroidery kit inspired by the film while talking and getting to know each other. The event offers space for connection, reflection and creativity in an accessible and informal setting.
The Queer meet-up is open to anyone interested in the theme, whether part of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally.
