Walk-in workshop: ‘Fashion jungle’ – a meter-long wall artwork

Due to its success, the wall artwork is being expanded. Visitors are invited to join in and help the artwork grow. Using leather, fabric, felt and glitter, participants design their own piece of a fashion jungle, inspired by the work of Fong Leng.

Shimmering materials, swirling pleats and colourful jungle animals form the foundation of the designs. Each unique creation becomes part of the monumental wall artwork, making every contribution visible within the whole.

Together, a large museum artwork is created. Once completed, it will be given a permanent place in the JAN Junior Studio – with all individual creations incorporated. Design along, think big and become part of a real museum artwork.

Date: Saturday 21 February
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM (walk-in, ongoing)
Age: Fun for all ages
Cost: Free (excluding museum admission). Museum admission is free for children up to and including 12 years old.
