Bistro Toost is a neighbourhood restaurant on the Dorpsstraat in Amstelveen's Oude Dorp, opened in 2024. Its motto sums up the kitchen of Bistro Toost nicely: French soul, Dutch heart, seasonal kitchen. You enjoy classic and modern bistro dishes in a relaxed setting, at the bar or at one of the small tables among the colourful flowers.
French classics with a seasonal touch
The menu at Bistro Toost features French classics such as onion soup, vol au vent, steak tartare and crème brûlée, alongside dishes like smoked eel, pan-fried turbot and linguine with truffle. The signature dishes add a twist: oeuf mayonnaise, a foie gras toastie and tarte tatin with foie gras. The kitchen follows the seasons, so the menu changes with them. For dessert, share the Dame Blanche pans or a board of farmhouse cheeses.

Bistro Toost is mainly a place for dinner, and on Sundays it opens from the afternoon.
