Looking to enjoy some drinks and bites outdoors? This summer, the agenda is packed with amazing festivals and events with a culinary twist. Even the pickiest eaters will find something to love as they stroll through food trucks and market stalls at these festivals.
Tiny Bites, Big Flavours - 30 May, Amstelzijde.
An afternoon along the Amstel, small bites and big flavours, while strolling from restaurant to restaurant. On Saturday 30 May, the Amstelzijde will host a new edition of Tiny Bites, Big Flavours: a culinary bites tour along five different waterfront restaurants.
Start wherever you like and follow your own route along the Amstel. Along the way, you’ll visit SAAM for refined dishes with South African inspiration and surprising flavour combinations. At Brasserie Paardenburg, you can effortlessly switch between a relaxed terrace and classic dining in an atmospheric waterside setting.
Ron Gastrobar Indonesia serves Indonesian dishes with a modern twist, perfect for sharing. Café Restaurant Heisa takes a different approach: laid-back, quirky, and with a kitchen full of character. And at Loetje aan de Amstel, it’s all about that one classic everyone comes for: steak in gravy.

Also Delicious - High wine & Pure Markt
Looking to enjoy a bite and a drink in the green? During High Wine days at Wijngaard Amsteltuin, you can relax among the vines while sipping local wine and enjoying small bites. It’s a peaceful spot, with plenty of space between the tables. The downside? The spots fill up quickly.
The Pure Markt is a traveling market that also appears a few times a year in Amsterdamse Bos. You can purchase fresh products, but there’s also plenty of cozy ambiance and delicious treats. Live music, tasty drinks, and stalls where fresh dishes are prepared. What more could you ask for on a Sunday afternoon?
