Gallery Breuker

The youngest gallery in Amstelveen exhibits mainly work by Hans Breuker but also shows other pop art artists. The art of Hans Breuker is characterized by full color and a combination between street art, pop art and cartoons.

Hans Breuker is influenced by 80s and 90s cartoons and comics, games but also contemporary pop culture.

"My goal with my paintings is to create liveliness and cheerfulness. That you have to do what you like and don't give a shit about anybody else. With my limited resources I manage to sell a lot and to attract a small group of loyal fans. If I can do it, anyone can. Follow your dreams and don't let anything stop you. This gallery is a great example of that."

Galerie Breuker is a place where other artists can exhibit as well. As long as it is cheerful poppy art, there is already enough room for miserable dark art.
