Japanese Autumn Festival - Bunka-sai
Experience the unique atmosphere of a Japanese bunka-sai in a former school in Amstelveen. The festival is filled with music, performances, food stalls, workshops, and student presentations. A lively and slightly chaotic celebration of creativity.
Under the motto “Do what you want to do,” participants and visitors come together to enjoy and share culture.
Program
This year’s bunka-sai offers a diverse program, including:
- J-POP band performances and choir singing
- Hip hop dance and student presentations
- Food and art workshops (reservation required)
- Retro Shōwa game from the Netherlands
- Japanese conversation café and matcha tea salon
- Children’s flea market and Japanese bazaar
- Authentic delicacies such as takoyaki, Hiroshima okonomiyaki, Japanese cakes, bread, and sweets
- Japanese trinkets and more surprises
