Artist-led tour with Mette Sterre
On Sunday 22 November, artist Mette Sterre leads a tour of her exhibition The Manufacturing of Spirits and Other Mechanical Wonders at Museum Cobra in Amstelveen. Part of Amsterdam Art Week, it's a chance to hear about the work straight from the artist who made it.
Mette Sterre's practice brings together performance, sculpture, costume and robotics. Through the transformation of materials, she questions conventional ideas about the human body. For one hour, you'll walk through the exhibition with her as she talks about the pieces on display.
Everyone is welcome, human and beyond. A ticket is required, and you can sign up in advance through Museum Cobra's ticket page, where you'll also find more information.
