Mette Sterre. The Manufacturing of Spirits and Other Mechanical Wonders brings together performance, sculpture, body masks, robotics and installation. Drawing on the early amusement parks of Coney Island and Constant Nieuwenhuys's New Babylon, Dutch artist Sterre explores how technology shapes the way we experience our bodies. Here, technology isn't sleek and efficient but soft, clumsy, funny and fragile.
After the opening, both exhibitions run until 4 April 2027. Tickets and more information are available on the Museum Cobra website.
