From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 October 2025, Stadshart Amstelveen transforms into the vibrant centre of fashion, beauty and technology. During the three-day Fashion Forward event, visitors can explore the latest trends and discover how innovation is shaping the future of fashion.

Hologram technology: see yourself on the cover

One of the highlights is the hologram experience, where visitors can view their own digital twin thanks to advanced scanning technology. Their 3D image appears on the cover of AMSTLVN Magazine — a spectacular, shareable moment.
“Just like the rapid developments within Stadshart Amstelveen, technological innovation is moving fast,” says Marlou Molenaar, Marketing Manager at Stadshart Amstelveen. “Visitors can see how hologram technology works and get a glimpse of the future of fashion.”

Beauty Lab & Fashion Forecast

In the Beauty Lab, organised in collaboration with Douglas, de Bijenkorf, and Charlotte Tilbury, visitors can discover and try out the latest beauty techniques and trends. From a quick touch-up to personal advice — it’s all about beauty and innovation.
Every day, fashion expert Janine Kho presents her favourite fashion picks from Stadshart Amstelveen stores during the Fashion Forecast. She also offers exclusive personal styling sessions (by registration) to help visitors refresh their look.

Sustainable fashion: donate and win

Sustainability plays an important role in the future of shopping. Visitors can donate their old clothes at the Sympany textile collection point in the Binnenhof and have the chance to win great prizes such as a gift card for Stadshart Amstelveen. This initiative helps reduce waste and gives clothing a second life.

Fashion Forward is supported by the Stadsfonds Amstelveen, which funds projects that contribute to a lively, sustainable and future-proof city.
