It will be clean. That is her task: to make everything clean and tidy. Just scrub away that last stain and the job will be done. Or is it? Wait… there is another stain. Almost finished, but the work is far from over. The dirt is only the beginning of an unexpected journey into the wilderness.
In this cheerful, almost wordless theatre performance, a world unfolds filled with mud monsters, sludge beasts and stinky creatures. Armed with a sponge and mop, the protagonist fights the dirt—or perhaps chooses to embrace it instead.
A playful and imaginative performance about the desire for dirt, wildness and untamed chaos. An ode to imagination, fantasy and letting go of control.
The performance has been nominated for the Niekie van den Berg Prize 2026.
