Day of Construction (Dag van de Bouw)
On Saturday, July 5th, Rijkswaterstaat, contractor VeenIX and the Municipality of Amstelveen will open the construction sites of the A9 Badhoevedorp-Holendrecht to the public during the Day of Construction. A unique opportunity to take a close look at this major infrastructure project.
In addition to behind-the-scenes tours, there are plenty of activities for all ages. Visitors can join a guided bicycle or walking tour along the A9 or through Amstelveen's city centre. On the Stadsplein, impressive construction equipment will be on display, which both children and adults can climb on. Young visitors can also get creative by building with kilos of LEGO bricks.
The Day of Construction is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the work on the A9 and to get involved in the developments in the city in a fun and interactive way.
