Het is weer zover – de 16de editie van Go Short Film Festival vindt plaats van 3 t/m 7 april in Lux Nijmegen. Vijf dagen die volledig in het teken staan van korte film.

Voor het eerst komt Go Short Film Festival ook naar Amstelveen!

The 16th edition of Go Short Film Festival will take place from 3 to 7 April in Lux, Nijmegen. Five days that are entirely dedicated to short film.

For the first time, Go Short Film Festival is also coming to Amstelveen!

In Theater de Landing you will see 3 different Shorts [English spoken or English subtitles] on 3 evenings.

1. Invincible
Director: Vincent René-Lortie - Production country: Canada • Year: 2022 – 30 min

Inspired by a true story, Invincible recounts the last 48 hours in the life of Marc-Antoine Bernier, a 14-year-old boy on a desperate quest for freedom.

2. Knight of Fortune / Ridder Lykke
Director: Lasse Lyskjær Noer - Production country: Denmark • Year: 2023 – 25 min

The loss of a loved one, the grief, the risk of yellow skin, and a coffin - that is too much for Karl to face.

3. Red, White and Blue
Director: Nazrin Choudhury - Production country: United States • Year: 2023 – 23 min

Rachel (Brittany Snow) is a single parent living paycheck to paycheck. When an unexpected pregnancy threatens to unravel her already precarious position, she's forced to cross state lines in search of an abortion.

4. The After
Director: Misan Harriman - Production country: United Kingdom • Year: 2023 – 18 min

The After is a powerful and affecting story that follows Dayo (Oyelowo), a Londoner who has to reconnect with himself and society after witnessing a devastating random attack in the capital.

5. The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar (Winnaar van één Oscar (beste live action short)
Director: Wes Anderson - Production country: United Kingdom and United States • Year: 2023 – 37 min

Chronicles a variety of stories, but the main one follows Henry Sugar, who is able to see through objects and predict the future with the help of a book he stole.
