Pridewalk ‘Proud to be Yourself’ in Amstelveen on 6 June
In June, people walk together for something that should be a given for everyone: the freedom and safety to be who you are.
On Saturday 6 June, ahead of the Pride Amstelveen opening celebration, the Pridewalk Proud to be Yourself takes place. This collective walk focuses on visibility, freedom, safety and respect. Being proud of who you are is only possible when there is space and safety to do so.

Gathering at Museum Cobra
Participants gather at 13:30 in Stadshart Amstelveen, at Museum Cobra, next to the outdoor exhibition Oud Roze by Stichting Open Mind.
At 14:00, the Pridewalk departs towards Villa Randwijck, where the Pride Amstelveen opening celebration takes place afterwards.

A calm, connecting walk
The Pridewalk is intentionally a calm and open walk, focused on connection rather than loud protest. Loving and respectful signs are welcome, as long as they contribute to connection, love and acceptance. Hate-driven, cynical or hurtful messages are not part of this day.
The walk invites people to be visible together and create space for freedom and safety for everyone.
