The Amstelveen event is organised by the Bridging the Gap Foundation as part of the AmstelveenBeach summer programme, in collaboration with the International Yoga Day Foundation and the Embassy of India in The Hague.

An accessible yoga session for everyone

Participants can look forward to a relaxed and accessible session focusing on movement, breathing, mindfulness and overall well-being. The event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while bringing together residents from diverse backgrounds in a spirit of inclusion and connection.

In keeping with the traditional colours of International Yoga Day, participants are encouraged, where possible, to wear a white or orange T-shirt as a symbol of health, positivity and unity.

“Amstelveen is home to people from many different cultures and backgrounds. Yoga offers a universal way to connect with ourselves and with each other. We are delighted to bring this global celebration back to our local community,” said Ritika Mehra, Chair of the Bridging the Gap Foundation.
