KunstOpentDeuren (ArtOpensDoors) 2025

On November 1st and 2nd a new art event will take place in Amstelveen. KunstOpentDeuren (ArtOpensDoors) is centred around the connection between art and culture. This is why, during this weekend, you might run into a musician in an art studio and a sculptor in a church.

It will be a special and big event, with almost a hundred artists opening the doors to their own studio or showing their work at a group location. There will be music in the ANNA church for example, where an artist will guide you make your own art. You can also follow a workshop at SAKB whilst your kids take part in a scavenger hunt. 

On many locations, the artist will be available to tell you about their work. Maybe you'll even find a piece of art that fits perfectly in your home. 

You might also run into the city pianist, a portrait drawer, the city poet, etc. 

From October 10th you will be able to pick up the Z-card with all information about the event at the entrance of Bookshop Venstra, DeNieuweGalerie, Platform C, Museum Cobra and Museum JAN. On the Z-card you'll find a map with all participating artists and a schedule with the activities. 

From October 15th you'll also be able to visit the website for up to date information. 

On November 1st and 2nd, from 11-17 'o clock, everyone is welcome, both adults and kids, to participate. 

If you don't know where to start, you'll be able to find a exhibition at Museum Cobra that will give you an overview of all artists.
