Museumtram - Historic tramline

Travel like  the old days with a historic streetcar along the Amsterdamse Bos to Haarlemmermeer Station and back. You will experience exactly how our ancestors traveled, in times when there seemed to be no hurry. Every Sunday through October, 

The route runs past the Olympic Stadium, Amsterdamse Bos, a number of original station buildings and staff houses of the former Haarlemmermeer railroad lines and at the end you can cross the A9 on foot to the old village center of Amstelveen, the recreational lake De Poel and Bovenkerk.

You can get off at any stop and continue your journey with the next tram, making it easy to combine your ride with one of the following activities:

  • A visit or walk in the Amsterdamse Bos (Stop: Koenenkade / Van Nijenrodeweg)

  • A visit to the Climbing Park / Fun Forest Amsterdamse Bos (Stop: Van Nijenrodeweg)
