Do-It-Yourself Sustainability Market

The Doe-het-duurzaam (Do-It-Yourself Sustainability) Market in Amstelveen brings together practical tips, sustainable products and special offers to help you make your home and garden greener. The market is organised by the Municipality of Amstelveen at ANNA Amstelveen.

When you arrive, pick up a token for a free coffee or tea. Then browse stands from suppliers, organisations and local initiatives, including energy coaches, the Energy Counter, insulation specialists, GAMMA, the Plant Library and SwapShare. Get advice on small and bigger steps you can take, learn about grants such as the Insulation Grant and the Energy Savings Grant, and book a personal appointment on the spot with some of the participants.

There are plenty of deals too: €30 off a rain barrel, free saplings and shrubs (while supplies last), a chance to win a Stoov product, and free clothing at the Free Fashion Cart. Living in a homeowners' association (VvE)? You can also find out about free guidance, loans and the local VvE network.

Want to browse at your own pace? Free childcare is available, with LEGO, colouring and a healthy snack for the kids.
