Amstelveen Bock Beer Tour
Each year, the Amstelveen Bokkentocht kicks off the bock beer season with a festive route along various cafés in Amstelveen. The event revolves around tasting different bock beers and enjoying the lively atmosphere. Participating venues include ANNA, Abina, Café Thijs, Café The Pub, Du Monde, Het Wapen van Amstelveen, Bar Côte d’Or, De Manen, and the P60 Café.
Traditionally, participants can start and finish at any of the cafés. Participation is free; only the beers ordered need to be paid for. At each venue, at least one bock beer (minimum 25 cl) must be consumed. Some special beers are limited in stock—once they’re gone, they’re gone. Each beer earns a stamp on the participant’s card.

A fully stamped card can be exchanged for a free t-shirt at ANNA as proof of participation. Be quick, as supplies are limited.
The route is approximately 7.5 kilometers long and is best completed on foot or by bike. Cyclists are advised to use proper lighting. Participants may also pause their route and continue later during the regular opening hours of the participating cafés. For up-to-date hours, check the cafés’ Facebook pages.
