Keizer Karelpark Neighbourhood Festival

The third edition of the Keizer Karelpark Neighbourhood Festival takes place on Saturday, June 28, in the small park at the corner of Hortensialaan and Lindelaan. Once again, it promises to be a lively and fun day for residents and visitors alike.

From 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM, there will be a varied programme with live music, dance and activities. The festival area also features stalls with food, drinks and various items.

Plenty to do for children
A special Kids' Holiday Room will be set up where children can enjoy face painting, stone painting and jumping on the bouncy castle.

Music and dance from the neighbourhood and beyond
In the afternoon, various bands from Amstelveen's Platform C music school will perform. There will also be performances by a singer-songwriter from Amstelveen College, a band of Ukrainian refugees and a teenage band from Amsterdam.

In the evening, the focus is on international music and dance. Visitors can join an Indian dance workshop and a salsa workshop led by Salsa-Rolf. There will also be a performance by the Turkish choir from Amstelveen. The festive finale is provided by salsa band Francisco Peña Y La Banda.
