Bosfest
The third edition of Bosfest will take place from 11 to 22 August 2026 in the Amsterdamse Bos. For ten evenings, from Tuesday through Saturday, the forest transforms into an intimate and surprising theatre landscape.
Bosfest settles deep within the forest, presenting small-scale theatre among roots and leaves. The festival explores theatre in its broadest sense: raw, intimate, musical, physical, and always close to the audience. Everything focuses on experimentation, immersion, and direct connection with spectators.
The large stage of the Bostheater Amsterdamse Bos, spanning over 900 m², becomes the festival hub. Visitors can enjoy drinks, bites and music, with a different line-up every evening. At the same time, audiences venture into the forest for performances at unique, carefully chosen locations.
