Zomerfeest Bovenkerk

Saturday 27 June, the annual Zomerfeest Bovenkerk will take place for the tenth time at Urbanuspark in Bovenkerk. This popular event in Amstelveen brings young and old together for an afternoon filled with music, social encounters, children’s activities, food and plenty of atmosphere.

The Zomerfeest has become a well-established tradition where the local community gathers and visitors can enjoy a varied program.

What can visitors expect?

Market & food area
More than 40 stalls offer a wide range of products, tastings and activities. The food area serves treats such as Dutch mini pancakes (poffertjes), burgers and full meals from Samen Eten Bovenkerk.

Music stage
Live performances create a festive atmosphere with music for all ages.

Heel Bovenkerk Bakt
Visitors can admire and taste the most beautiful cakes. The creations are judged by the jury of Banketbakkerij Arnold Cornelis, after which the audience is also invited to taste them.

Children’s activities
Children can enjoy sports and games, breakdance lessons and creative workshops.

The Zomerfeest is made possible by the efforts of many volunteers and the cooperation between Stichting Bovenkerk, Stichting Amstelidee and the Noorddamcentrum.
