Exhibition at DeNieuweGalerie: six artists, one inspiring showcase

From Friday, May 9 through Saturday, May 18, DeNieuweGalerie presents a diverse group exhibition featuring the work of six artists. Making their debut in the gallery are three promising young talents: Yawen Fu (1996, Nanjing, China), Antoni (2005), and Inka Hilsenbek (1998, Germany). They exhibit alongside experienced members of the AmstellandKunst collective: Neely Schaap, Liesbeth Schouten, and Han Sinke.

Special interactive event during Amstelveen in 24HRS
On Friday, May 17, the exhibition coincides with 'Amstelveen in 24HRS'. Between 12:00 and 16:00, the gallery hosts the participatory project ‘RECYCLING AS ART 12+’. Artist Tamar Shilo – also a member of AmstellandKunst – will create a large collaborative artwork with visitors using recycled paper bags, inspired by the style of Henri Matisse. Participation is free and open to anyone aged 12 and up. The final piece will be displayed in the gallery.
