Young guitar virtuosos - Conservatorium van Amsterdam

On Sunday afternoon, December 15, 2024, guitar teacher Izhar Elias will bring his talent class to Wijkcentrum De Bolder once again: Adi Ganesh, Vincent Opheikens, Can Tezel, Eduard Duslee, and Gabriel Bower.

These exceptional teenagers have won prizes at the Concertgebouw Concours and the Prinses Christina Concours.

A few months ago, some of them performed as soloists with an orchestra during the international festival "Klassiek op het Amstelveld." You might also recognize Vincent Opheikens from his appearance on the television program Podium Klassiek, where he was hailed as "The Young Hero."

Now, you can marvel at their diverse musical talents at De Bolder. The guitar talents will perform Spanish music, virtuosic pieces from Cuba, tangos, Brazilian bossa nova, and a beautiful classical trio by Scarlatti.

It promises to be a treat to hear these young musicians again!

Tickets go on sale starting December 9, 2024, at the De Bolder reception desk on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, or on the day itself while supplies last.
